The unfortunate part of the business. Thanks to the #RiderPride fans out there for making my time in the Queen City enjoyable for me and my family.
Next stop...TBD.

The end of the road as a player for Dyakowski.

Probably the end of his career. It happens to the best of them, and Peter was one of the good guys. Congratulations on a very good career, Peter.

I'm not so sure this is the end of his career.
Peter has missed exactly 2 games in the last 4 seasons as a starting Guard.
He played well last year.
Anything but blue! :-\

Great depth guy if Peter wants to continue and would accept a pay cut.

If Peter does retire this year, it would be fitting for the Ti-cats to offer him a one day contract so he can retire as a Ti-cat.

I hope Grover is right, and if so, I agree with blackandgold and delta queen.

Actually Peter missed the entire 2014 season rehabbing his knee after blowing it out in the 2013 Grey Cup . He did manage to comeback though in time for the play-offs that year . He dressed for both the East Final and the Grey Cup as well .However he didn’t start either of these contests and was listed as a back-up in both games .

So in reality Peter has missed only 2 games the last 3 years not 4 years . He has been remarkably durable over an 11 year career though . If one takes out his missed season in 2014 , Peter has only missed a total of 14 games since turning pro in 2007 .

Peter Dyakowski games played 2014-2017

2014 - 0 gms regular season , 2 gms play-offs
2015 - 18 gms regular season , 2 gms play-offs
2016 - 16 gms regular season , 1 gm play-offs
2017 - 18 gms regular season , 2 gms play-offs (Sask)

This is going to come back and haunt them.

A nice column, from Regina, about Peter's year as a Roughrider:
