Durant ready to start?

Is Durant up to starting tonight? Should we start Dinwiddie and see how it goes? I know Durant will want to start no matter what but has his recent ailment been part of the reason for our offence not being quite as effective as we would expect them to be?

What ailment?

He has some kind of intestinal infection

Durant has had an intestinal infection for the last 3 weeks or so. It got so bad on Tuesday he couldn't practice and that was when they found out what was wrong with him. He had been feeling bad before but hadn't notified anyone - Miller had a talking to him about not keeping them informed. Apparently he was feeling pretty bad after the flight to Montreal and word has it he didn't look so hot at practise today - so maybe it's a good time for Dinwiddie to get a start. Montreal has not been preparing for a Dinwiddie start so it might not be a bad thing and give Durant extra time to recover.

well if he and the team say he is ok, heck go with Durant.. unless he's incapable, he's capable!

Start with Darian, and if necessary, bring in Dinwiddie.

I'd say that was a pretty gutsy effort by Durant tonight.

x2. Very impressive, despite the end result.

Excellent game by Durant. I reverse my original suggestion that Dinwiddie should start. Montreal got away with quite a few PI that should have been called. I also thought there was at least 3 illegal blocks on the Maypray runback. Despite everything Durant was able to bring it down to still having a chance to win on the last play of the game. Darian, spend the rest of the weekend getting healthy - can't wait to see what you can do when you are 100%
