I enjoyed him on the panel and occasionally in the booth. Another long time fixure is gone but it will be a new opportunity for someone else.
Maybe Bo-Levi one day after he hangs them up?

I won’t be sad to see him gone. I think Angus Reid would be real good choice.
I will be. I hope it is not for health reasons of any kind. He was my favorite after Schultz.

I was thinking the same thing. His history of concussions is well known. I hope at least that he is able to enjoy what remains of his life without significant mental impairment.

I certainly did not dislike him. He never came across as if he were an idiot.
He had moments when he forgot he was on a live mic and in front of a general audience.

Matty the man is ok.
only people I like for the panel are Farhan, Lapo and Marshall, so meh.
I would certainly not be disappointed to never see Kate, Barker and Milt again.

Matt’s entertaining and I enjoy his character. He will be missed.
I wish it was suitor retiring I can’t stand him. I found his flip flop from being over the top rider positive to hyper critical in 22/23 to be too flaky for me plus he is the king obvious and useless comments.
Need some young blood in there but I’m going to have a hard time with Bo Levi if he goes into broadcasting. And Marshall while younger is dry as popcorn.

I second your motion on Suitor. I never cared for his style, and his theory that the way to reduce the number of penalties is to let some infractions slide rather than TRAINING PLAYERS NOT TO COMMIT SO MANY INFRACTIONS is ridiculous.
The only thing worse than Suits in the booth is teaming him with the Screaming Dustbunny.

With you 100% on that one friend. Sure, he sputtered and stammered the odd time - but what about Jimbo Barker, who’s several years older than Matty or the old DB on the panel who’s feisty but lacks a lot of knowledge?
Good on Matty if he pulled the pin himself. If TSN pulled the pin - a big BOO-HISS. Look at how long TSN carried the incorrigible Rowdy Roddy Black before driving him to the edge of town.
Matty deserves a tribute show, if nothing else. Think about it TSN. Matty made tons of friends over his 40+ yrs providing entertainment as a player, coach, executive, analyst, color man. Least you could do for this true CFL legend.
In fact - each CFL team should have a “MATT DUNIGAN DAY” complete with the BBQ and fans staggering around like they’re concussed.

It’s the same for me when a team loses a game and their fans complain about the officiating and blame the refs for their loss.
When they should blame their own players for going offside, holding, illegal interference, etc, etc.
