It would’ve been good to have someone who we knew could do well on returns. But now I think we’ll keep Keith, and perhaps see what Cobb can do on special teams.

What will this mean for Wes Cates? Where will he go?

Did you miss it when just before the season started, tsn reported that the Rider’s were the only team to go over the cap for the second year in a row?They’ve got pretty much the exact same roster and go into a bidding war for Dorsey.Wouldn’t suprise me to see them over for a 3rd year.

They’ve got 10 free agents they haven’t signed plus Baggs and Chick that’s around 1 million dollars in payroll. They can sign anybody they want.

If they did go over the cap, they are paying whatever penalties accrue from the amount they went over. Until you can find me evidence that the league is turning a blind eye to the Riders’ infractions, I’m not really going to take this accusation very seriously.

As Hfx has pointed out, they have a ton of free agents and lost two standout players to the NFL (Baggs and Chick). I'm sure they have plenty of cash to spend.
