Alexander I think was in his option year so I guess this makes sense if he was planning on being closer to home.

Not sure why they made this deal. Alexander is very young and potentially a ratio-breaker in the secondary when Sanchez eventually moves on. Did we really need more draft picks?
I would have thought so too, but my guess is that when Sanchez moves on Woldu will take his place, and he's a non-import as well. That's probably why we made the deal to help the kid out moving him closer to home. Guess the brain trust figured Woldu has more upside than Alexander does.
