I totally agree all6 otawa games are on the road if they werent i would of gone to all the none telivised games. I got a friend who thinks its a waste of money to got to a game thats telivised so totally that i think would bring fans that alaways watch it on tv to the games but then again the fans that cant afford tickets may lose intrest which is one downside to local blackouts
I agree too. It's a load of crap that we have to miss 3 out of 4 games w/ no TV. Blackout the home games & they would easily get several thousand more show up.
The Renegades need exposure which is why all their away games should be broadcasted and the blackout should be kept at home. unless its a sellout. When I went to check the tv scheduel for the bombers i noticed that about (im guessing here not checking) that 90% of the un-broadcast games were with the Renegades. It's because there's 2 games that are happening at one time and TSN or CBC chose one over the other.
6 games total are not televised, 4 of them involving the Renegades, 2 for Saskatchewan, Winnipeg, and Toronto, and one for each of BC and Hamilton. It does seem that Ottawa gets the shaft in that respect.
But the Renegades were still kind of in limbo when the TV sced was being made ...
the good thing about not blacking out home games is that it gives exposure to the people in the city. Everyone knows it's 100x better attending a game live than watching it on TV. This way though, it's basically the most effective advertising out there. I wonder what the TV numbers are like from Ottawa for their home games?
Again, I think people who can afford to come to games are getting a free ride with local coverage. People know the Gades are there by now.
They should black out games unless we get 20,000.
Otherwise people come to the game or listen on the radio.
But they should get every away game on the d*mn TV!
