I think we’re ripe for the picking next Thursday.
We’ve been ripe for the picking every time we’ve stepped on the field this season.
Edmonton is crap and we already proved that we can beat them.
Since the competition is extremely weak, this is the pefect time to ease in Milanovich and whatever new ideas he might bring in.
Why do you say next week?
The Elks play Winnipeg tomorrow, and I predict an upset.
Then we can talk about next week.
And last season as well might I add .
To me their offence is no better than ours, don’t have an established qb or run game. Receivers haven’t really been dominant either with Lewis out. Their defence hasn’t really been shutting anyone down in the Chris Jones tradition. Tre Ford is going to pull the ball down and run so the key is to try to keep the ends outside so you don’t lose contain and force him to pass which isn’t his game. Not much different than defending Crum. We’ll have a bye week to rest some guys and maybe a bit of renewed energy with the coaching change. At some point Elks will upset someone but they worry me as much as any 0-8 team would worry me. The Cats are in no position to feel overconfident or take them lightly though.

You got that right!
What if Lewis comes back in time for our game?
Then we will have our hands full, no doubt.
I got the sense he was out for a long time. Could be wrong though. He’s always been a killer for our team.
Butler left
Butler right
Will lead to an easy W against EE
He will need somebody to get him the ball.
He’s been Limited in practice this week with Edmonton, so there is a possibility he could be ready for the HAM game next week.
We could be in for a treat.
Don’t take them lightly my friends.
We all said that last time.
We will beat Edmonton
Edmonton though?
Cmon despite the Ticats this season we are talking the Elks here
Few more losses and they are the undisputed worst team in CFL history (already worst home team ever)
Hmmm Edmonton is crap…Hamilton is ripe and stinks at home…could be a Smellfest next week.
Edmonton’s season is over, a loss by Hamilton with another brownout by the Offence will result in a few player moves next. Can’t play the blame Tommy Condell game anymore.
Tre Ford beat us last year, so who knows.
Our defense was able to, for the most part, contain Ottawa’s mobile quarterback this year, so I predict a Ticat win as these games should be considered “must wins”.
I am not looking for miracles.
What I want, and expect, is that the Ticats play disciplined, penalty free ( or close to it ) football.
At least twice we were within the 2 and 5 yard lines, only to get penalized with holding or roughing penalties, taking away much needed TDs.
If we can do that, the rest will take care of itself .
Maybe Edmonton gets their first win this week. But seriously they have a better chance next week with Eugene Lewis possibly in their lineup.
Definitely would help … keep sabotaging their own efforts with costly penalties catches up to you…hoping they get their starting left and right tackles back in lineup as they miss both… Powell needs to be better at picking up and hitting open receivers as well… Actually lucky to be 3-5 …
