Do argos have money or will to re-sign WR walker?

again
i think that presents a great opportunity for the argos to sign him

and

then have one of best receiving corp ion the league

.

toronto deserves ā€˜great’ not just ā€˜better’

Yup. I agree with your thoughts on Bridge. He has all the physical tools and has shown them at times to.
He has just been in the wrong places at the wrong times.
So his whole career he has been bounced around like a ping pong ball.
Starter one day. Back up another for a team. Then he gets bounced out of that team to a new system. It’s like ground hog day.
He was thrust into starting situations with bad teams on offense.
Let him settle in somewhere. Be a back up. Learn that system.

and he’s a local boy too

talk about a markter’s dream

i still remember when he came off bench for sk and almost beat argos in east final in 2017 and he had great arm with a few throw to carter

i rember his mobility and wow could he ever run - he was the size of most line backers [6’5" 235 lb]

i never understood who popp cut him TWICE

again trade macbeth and his salary and sign walker, then bridge as backup

argos could up some good plays w/ him as 2nd qb/slot back on field

bring exciting football to argos - fans deserve it

i still rember great argo team w/ holloway and barnes at the helm … in the grey cup game

if players want commercials and start brands - winning is the EASIEST way to do it

as all davis said ā€˜just win baby!’

Yup. Bridge is still young. He could definitely benefit from a top level QB coach. Toronto has two now.
Move up further north in Ontario and Lapo hired a good one in Steve Walsh & the Redblacks are in need of a back up to Arbuckle. Could be similar situation to James Franklin in sask now.
Jmo

Walker would be a great addition, it doesn’t look like he could fit in now with the money they will be paying Daniels, Jones and probably Brescacin. If the word is correct that Walker made 280,000 last year, he going to have to take a healthy cut. Two Hundred may be the new top end money for WR’s now that the minimum has gone up 11,000 to 65,000. Just guessing but that probably took around 150,000 from the high end salaries and the Cap only went up 50,000.

$280k is too much but he might sign for less - ya never know … what a receiving corp he would give the argos …

fans deserve a ā€˜great team’ after 2 ys of 4-14
and like u said; ā€œya never know … what a receiving corp he would give the argosā€
what a rec corp indeed

looks like walker is gonna wait it out for after pre season to see if he can land spot - good luck to him - hopefully argos can sign him
.
mt b bridge dreams of playing w/ argos have been shattered w/ him signing w/ police

Well a lot may have to d with the TJ Jones situation.
If the CBA isn't altered. That opens up 200K in the Argos cap. So who ya gona sign.
Walker of course.

adding walker to argo roster would gives argos an excellent group of hi profile. deep threat, game changing receivers - ergo a ā€˜great’ corp of deep receivers, which would make for exciting football and dare i say put fans back in the stands

rotate the 3 rec to keep them fresh and ALWAYS [each play] send at least one deep to help tire out and stretch def
