Diedrick released!

EDMONTON (CFL.ca wire) -- The Edmonton Eskimos announced on Monday they have released non-import running back Dahrran Diedrick.

Diedrick dressed for three games this season. The Nebraska product appeared in seven games for the Eskimos in 2005, recording 31 yards on ten carries, eight punt returns for 159 yards and one blocked punt.

A few weeks back he was complaining and whining about not getting any playing time at RB. Guess the esks management showed him what they thought of that...

Heard a rumour that the Lions might sign him. Heard another story that they swapped a draft pick for him.....any substance to the rumours?

no idea. I've heard that BC, sask, and calgary are interested though.
