I think he's close but I don't think he's signed yet. The Als are also said to be close to signing (and apparently have signed) former Florida State standout all purpose standout Peter Warrick. Between the 2, I like Warrick's chances better.

All that was left for him to be officially signed was for an actual contract to be sent to his residence for him to sign, which the the Als did. Apparently that was a week ago and they haven't gotten anything back and whats more troubling is that their phone calls to him have gone unanswered.
I don't think Montreal would miss out on much if they don't sign him.
Als should have told him how good and cheap the weed is in Quebec, that would have made the 50k salary more paletable
