Smith got creamed on punt coverage early in the 1st quarter. Maybe that might explain why he was lost in Bowman's afterburners for much of the rest of the game?
He got burned because Bowman is a physical beast, I predicted Smith was going to get torched like this the first time we played them, he didnt because Lafors was their qb at that time and could barely throw 30 yards.
And I have also been suggesting we trade for Bowman all year and probably could have traded for him 3 weeks ago.
