'Detailed' second half saves Stampeders' season

CALGARY — More often than not a football season can come down to details.

The Calgary Stampeders were down 13-5 after 30 minutes of play on Friday night at home against the Saskatchewan Roughriders before scoring 21-points in the second half to claim a 26-19 win.

Queue the exit of the Rider coaching staff and management at the end of the season.

What a complete display of incompetence, this was not a professional game in any sense. I do not know which is worse, the Stamps first half, the Riders second half, the Officials entire game or Craig Dickensen’s play calling thru-out. Wow, just flabbergast at the thorough lack of skill displayed all around. Even with such a poor display, someone has to win, I guess.

Harsh, but I can’t say inaccurate.
