I agree. The Riders look to have one of the better defences in the CFL even with the missing All-Stars. The backfield was top notch in 2019. Dean & Lacey have been really good. I get why Hughes, @ 37, was let go. I am interested in how the front 4 shapes up. Where are the sacks & pressures that left with Hughes coming from? Makena is 34 & has 5 sacks in 4 seasons. Micah just turned 33. Sure, he was double & triple teamed in 2019 but he was too in Calgary the previous 2 years when he had 23 sacks. So why the drop? That's where I see some questions on the defence. But, overall, they look pretty solid.
