CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders have extended American offensive lineman Derek Dennis. A two-time CFL All-Star and a West Division All-Star on four occasions, Dennis had been eligible to become a free agent on Feb. 14.

i was thinking Riders might break the bank for this guy if he went to free agency but no dice.

His worst season in the CFL was his one in Regina. Dennis wanted to stay in Calgary so that's a good thing. Really good player.
