An article by Joseph Person on a website called thestate.com in South Carolina reports that former University of South Carolina running back Demetris Summers will be trying out for the Ticats:
"Ex-Clemson receiver Roscoe Crosby has signed a contract with the CFL’s Calgary Stampeders, and former USC tailback Demetris Summers has a tryout with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, according to Kevin Parker, the players’ Columbia-based agent."
Summers tried out for the Dallas Cowboys in 2006.
