Delone Carter looks like a beast!

I like the looks of this guy it will be interesting to see his game face!

Here's hoping Carter is the second coming of my favorite TC RB: Johnny Shepherd.

I was thinking more like the late Jimmy Edwards!

He does "look like a beast" at 5'9" and 230lbs, but can he run??
Let's hope he is a Kackert or a Josh Ranek type punishing straight ahead RB. I'm sure he will be used early to find out what he can do and try to establish a running game.

Here is a short 19 second clip of what we might be in for from Carter, pretty impressive run, hard to bring down by the looks of it.

Here is a nice 3.23 min highlight clip of Carter from his days at Syracuse, guy runs like a run away bowling ball, can't wait to see this guy in action tonight.

Sam Ojuri is no slouch as well,as this clip will attest to that, looks like he is more of an open field runner as opposed to Carter who looks like he runs like a bulldozer on roids. I think that these two could very well complement one another as they both have very different but effective running styles. I guess we will find out tonight when hopefully, these two newest Cats run roughshod over the TWOCOLOURS.

Speed kills. Looking forward to seeing some new highlights tonight. :rockin:

Thanks for the videos Bobo

Ojuri looks good. Very shifty, if I can use that word. And he can block. Nice
He does run a bit too upright.

And you're right Carters a bulldozer.

Now, will the OL be able to open holes between the tackles? Mr. Carter may not be able to run very far.

Two things came to mind when watching Carter.
He exposes the ball a lot. Not sure if he has a history of fumbling.
2-Might be our answer to short yardage.

Carter will probably make his own holes.
Ojuri reminds me of Chevon Walker or Archie Amerson.

Of course, we have to see them at game speed...

Ojuri reminds me a bit of Jimmy Edwards. Look, cut, break, gone. Carter seems like a Josh Ranek type.
Hoping for good things from either one or both.

definitely a stronger version of Chev. if tacklers breathed on Walker he fell over, mind you you had to actually be close to Walker to breathe on him. speed kills

Agree that Ojuri certainly was no slouch and appeared to be a good blocker. Carter was VERY hard to take down managing extra yards while dragging defenders with him!

We'll see how they both fare in the CFL tonight!

Pass Pass Pass should answer most Questions

The last 3 mins of the game answered most of our questions. Six run plays , getting first downs, ate up the clock. Pass protection looked pretty good, while receptions out of the backfield looked a bit shaky (probably why we saw no screen passes).

Agreed being able to close out like that will be HUGE the rest of the way

a week ago not enough RBs. This week an excess - and quality! Nice problem to have.

As we enter November, it's a critical problem to covet! We have to be more balanced IMHO...Carter is a solid addition.

Oski Wee Wee,

This is what I thought.

And now we have Grigsby as well. :o
