Defence steps up for Lions against Bombers in West Division battle

Tasked with stopping the hottest offence in the CFL after two weeks in the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, the Lions stepped up and held them to two field goals in a 30-6 win at IG Field on Thursday.

Kudos to the BC Lions. You had a real dominance over the Bombers and deserve the Week 3 Power Rankings #1 spot.

I’m sure the Lions would thank you for the gracious post. I expect the re-match will be a highlight reel game!

Wow, that was an impressive outing by the BC Lions. Even at Half Time, you just had a feeling that the Lions weren’t going to let the Bombers back into the game. As a Bombers fan, you could only appreciate how well BC played. Congrats to them.
Good for the league and can’t wait August 3rd for the rematch. Should be a great one
