What is wrong with this guy. It seems that he comes into the game with an amazing game plan, but cannot come up with a way to fix it in the second half once the opposing team has figured out what he is doing. EVERY game we kill the other team in the first half (or in the case of the rained out game, before they had half time) then they come out and our D gets slaughtered and Dave Ritchie can't figure it out. Is he too old and is now living in dementia or something?

and if the O does get the work, they get tired. That's nothing but an excuse. Coaching is the problem on the D as well as the O.
Dave Ritchie has always sucked at game time coaching. Whether it be critical situation decisions, or half time adjustments.
Of course the opposition knows how to play the Lions. They're using the same playbook as they did last year, with only a little variation. The opposing coaches only needed a few games to identify those variations.
At this rate, it's going to be a really long season.
