I dont agree with dougie’s brother too often, but he was correct that next year’s season start NOW!, there is no point of playing out the string right now, the team might as well clean house and get whatever coaches, staff, scouts, management, players they dont for next season to leave ASAP. A major House Cleaning is neccessary, the only guy who played with any heart was the punter fleming, and thats sad.
Agreed.
Nuff said.
Agreed as well, although Terry Vaughn did stick out to me as a classy player stuck in a quagmire of dung.
Vaughn deserves to be with a contender. Not this lowly mess.
I think the season is over, as the Cats are not gonna go on a last season tear. The house needs a cleaning, and I thing Ronnie, Joe and company need to be chucked out. Even Shivers from Sask put together a better team, than what was put together in steeltown, and he was fired!
GO FIGURE!
I’ll disagree with you on that point. I truly believe that Hitch and MM played with a lot of heart tonight. Too bad neither of them are in their prime anymore.
Its a sad day in Cat Land when the only players that demonstrate heart are being their prime.
Anyone listen to Hitch "miked up" no intensity whatsoever .... he has given up ... I'm more intense than that as a tyke football coach !
I agree that Hitch and Morreale hang their heart out every time they suit up…the pain on their faces was evident last night.
I was also impressed with Fleming’s effort.
Maybe someone could start a thread so we can at least give a -shout out- to the players we feel played with guts last night…there were more than a few in spite of what the scoreboard said.
No question, the house cleaning continues big time to correct this franchise.

Corey Holmes usually plays with a lot of heart, but it seems that his heart is still in Saskatchewan. He looked pretty sad on the sidelines.

I wasn't convinced that the Cats needed a total house cleaning, but it appears that at this point it definitly wouldn't hurt.
