But let's get priorities straight of course for sake of beer (and whisky) here guys ... make no mistake about it whether for sake of any future culture trades or not, your beer is better up there than ours for the most part though we have some solid contenders.
For settlement of the bet between our President and your Prime Minister after Team Canada won the gold in the best hockey tournament in history IMHO, two cases of the President's favourite Yuengling and PA legend and a regular favourite of mine especially when I live there until earlier this year, were sent to Prime Minister Harper to enjoy.
Anyway perhaps we can agree on a beer trade of any given non-mass produced brands in Slow Time Beer Talk sometime here in this offseason.
Okay please back to this revised talk of adding if anything MORE beer at the games so long as responsible consumption and consequences for violation are enforced instead of plugging the taps again for even the good students in the class.
P.S.
I would love for Team USA to get revenge on you guys in the next one, but something tells me we won't have that chance for a good long time now.
most people can go to a game w/o drinking, but choose not to. Is there something wrong with 1 day being your night out that week?
People who can’t deal with society are like a disease, trying to spread their gospel everywhere. Ya know what…this is how some people choose to have fun, and yes, like I said, the <1% cause issues, but you know what, probably almost as many sober people cause issues at the games for others to. Like the person who sits behind me and gets mad when I stand up and cheer on a big play like a TD.
Why, i can drink a dozen beer over 5 hours of a tailgate and game and not cause an issue. Like I said, I have been to over 200 games, and never really had issues.
Again, you are wanting to persecute 99.8% of the people drinking for .2% of the people making an issue. You want to solve the problem…grow a backbone and call security. Problem solved.
Maybe but most would be falling down drunk by that point and even if they weren’t aggressive to others, they’d certainly cause a problem. ie falling over people getting to their seats.
Hell, my roommate would be hosed after just 3 beers so that’s not a good arguement.
I don’t think I’ve ever had more than two beers at a sporting event. Sports and beer kind of go hand in hand, but when I’m there live, I prefer to focus more on the game.
I guess I fall into the cheap skate catagory.......... I like to go to a nice eating establishment, have a few glasses of wine, a steak or prime rib and thouroughly enjoy it instead of the cold hot dogs and warm beer...........I don't get paying $8.00 for warm flat beer. I did the math of my seatmates, 4 seats down, count the empty glasses, do the math and I figure my $60.00 per person at the resteraunt is far, far, ahead of his $50.00 in warm flat beer.
Why do they have to serve it in those flimsy plastic cups ? I honestly think they leach all kind of chemicals into the Beer. Went to a Mariners game I was able to dink out of a ice cold aluminum bottle held the Temp for a long time .
