IMO you mods are taking this "big brother" thing too far. People are not even allowed to voice their thoughts here without being "held down" by the man.. it NUTS. Maybe you should try cheering for a team before you "lock" someone out of their own head. Give up the UNNECESSARY locking for crying out loud
Yes, fire the mods and bring in some mods from other CFL cities. I think the mods were covering Cahoon tonight plus they never even got a hand on Cavillo. At least they can keep those who are passionate about the ticats under wraps. :thdn:
They've always run this site like a dictatorship. Just like any other forums they only like kiss-ups that speak looking through rose coloured glasses. People who speak the truth are black sheep because the truth HURTS!!!

i agree. i thought this was a discussion type website. feedback comes in two forms. applause and criticizime. if you dont like what we post or have nothing good to say about someone's opinion, the fundemental rule of "if you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all" should come into play. Ockham, you in particular should learn this. We're having a civil discussion about the thread locking on this site and if you dont like it, why would you bother posting like a child with too much time on there hands? are you agreeing that this website should be run like a dictatorship and that if we dont agree we should go someplace else? this is a public forumn that any joe blow and sign up for and post. We can post whatever we want. if YOU dont like it, theres nothing you can do so have a nice day

These are not stated. They are brought in arbitrarily whenever the feeling arises by a select few.
I guess it was my contribution to the Forum that got it "Locked" by the moderators. I'm amazed since I thought it was a pretty balanced look at the game--neither trashing the Cats nor heaping praise on it. Nor was there any profanity or personal insults.
Is it because I sign off as an Argo fan? Actually, my allegiances are 1) the CFL by a country mile and 2) the Argos.
It's very frustrating to have moderators arbitrarily shut down thoughtful, even passionate discussion. I hope you guys ease up.

I had a thread of mine axed yesterday....no hard feelings....in fact the "executioner" :lol: and I communicated and had a chuckle....
....no biggie as sure enough, the sun came up again today (I'll just have to conspire better to get around the rules) ....
Team websites have more stringent rules than fan websites do....and understandably so.
