NHRA, Anaheim Ducks team up for a special night with Forces
NHRA POWERade Series Funny Car driver Ashley Force will be at Honda Center during the Jan. 23 Anaheim Ducks National Hockey League game against the Detroit Red Wings.
Force, who is among those scheduled to compete at the 2008 season-opening CARQUEST Auto Parts NHRA Winternationals Feb. 7-10 at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona, joined the powerhouse stable of her father's Funny Car team, John Force Racing, in the POWERade Series in 2007. In addition, a John Force Racing show car will be parked at Honda Center. Force will be joined by her sisters Brittany and Courtney, who race in the NHRA Lucas Oil Series. They will sign autographs at the concourse during intermissions.
