A familiar face back on top of the rankings. Come to think of it, the top two teams are owned by CFL clubs.

So here are the results of the first round. One surprise in the TSS Rovers defeating the CPL team.

And here are the next round matches. Toronto vs Montreal already!

In a mouthwatering doubleheader of MLS vs. CPL rematches to be played on Wednesday, May 24, CF Montréal will host Forge FC (7:00 p.m. ET), while the Vancouver Whitecaps return to the Island to face Pacific FC (7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET). Both matches will be broadcast live on OneSoccer.

I see Calgary is sliding down the rankings. Wonder if they’ll be able to climb back up to their usual top-3 spot.

I’m thinking the west coast matchup will hold more interest.

Are you close enough to ask the hotdog guy running up and down the stands to toss you a smokie?

By “toss you a smokie” . . . are you being literal or euphemistic? If it’s the latter, I’ll have to consider flagging the post.

Pretty close race in the middle of the pack. IIRC, the top 4 qualify for the playoffs.
