Costabile: 4 storylines to watch in Week 21

How about that 2024 season, eh?

This year has been one the most exciting ones that I have ever seen in all of my years covering the CFL. It’s been competitive across the board in both Divisions, and there’s been a ton of insane no-lead-is-safe endings and playmakers well..making a ton of plays.

It ain’t over yet…not even the regular season season… Two games yet with first place on the line in the West. Loving it.
Helps a lot my two most fave teams involved

Commissioner Randy and his league head office could make a Grey Cup winning team with all the former riders kicked to the curbside by that team and now interspersed across the CFL on other team rosters starting with Cody Fajardo Zack Collaros Vernon Adams Jr. at qb, the list goes on and on for every football position.

With the high turnover due to free agency you could probably make a Grey Cup winning team from ex Argos, Stamps, TiCats etc.
Collaros is just one example - first Argos, then Cats, then Riders, back to Argos and then Winnipeg. Fajardo is an ex Argo too. How many teams did Shawn Lemon play for?
I think Kevin Glenn has the record, being part of all 9 teams, though he didn’t get on the field for all of them.

I’m talking “riders only”, not the whole CFL’s combined teams.

I’ll let you down easy norider0.8, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers will win the 2024 West Division Championship . . again.

You are so right @Bom1980 !

From a disastrous 0-4 start to an unlikely 11-7 finish. What a ride. :+1:
