Cornelius shines as Elks break seven year drought at Mosaic

REGINA — The Edmonton Elks won their first game in Mosaic Stadium since 2015 as they took down the Saskatchewan Roughriders 26-24 on Friday night.

Had a couple of really good run but was meh most of the rest of the game.

Because so many other players "shined" even more, specialy on D.

I like Cornelius, but he is not there yet.

Pretty tough for a D not to shine against the Riders O.

The Rider season will mercifully end Oct.29 just in time for my birthday. Only four more beatings to go. Does the Rider offensive line even wear pads? They are well on their way to finish last in the west.

54 sacks given up on the year, 22 more than the next closest team. Not good.

Just baffling that given the choice they got big free agents for the defence in the off season and left the O line alone.
