A tough loss in the 101st Grey Cup for our Tiger-Cats but what a great year of fighting adversity and overcoming the odds and with a young team only room to grow for the future.
Once we get past the upcoming dispersal draft and get a better idea of our protected players and remaining players not selected we can build towards next season with a new vision, new stadium and a new era of Tiger-Cat football and get back to the Grey Cup and win next time.
All the best to Regina on their victory.
Thank you Kent Austin, Coaches, Players, Team Staff and Fans on a great year, next year will be better!!
Ticats have a great foundation…moving into a new stadium next year with a new team to the east. Next year will be a great year for the Ticats and the league. As a 31 year season ticket holder of the Riders, the heartache of tough times in the 80s and and 90s…losing the grey cup on the last play with 13 men on the field…it makes the victory all that much more sweet. When the ticats win that cup in the coming years…you’ll look back on the heartbreak and it will make it all that more gratifying.
I saw something special in the Eastern final…the argos and cats will both have good teams again next year…the rivalry builds…it’s Christmas time…go buy your cats gear…be loud and proud…the cats had a great year…will have a brand new stadium next year and are a great cfl franchise…
