Congratulations Caretaker

Thank you, see you in Regina!!

Thank you, Caretaker.

THANKS BOB !! See you in Regina   :rockin: :rockin:

Thank you Bob, hopefully our boys can get your name on the cup.

You guys are such pessimists! Shouldn’t we wait until next week for this?

After the game, my thoughts immediately went to Bob Young.
How much money, time, and probably tears went into this from the caretaker?
So many years of frustration as he put lots of love in and didn't get the results.
Now, months away from the opening of a new stadium which will ensure the Ticats' future in Hamilton forever, his hard work and dedication has paid off.
He finally has a winning season and his team is going to the Grey Cup for the first time since '99.
Congratulations, Bob. You deserve it!!!

Congrats Bob! Go Cats!

Congrats Caretaker, And thank you , It has been a decade to rebuild and you have one great team!!

Bob Young era GC #1 Oskee wee wee :rockin:

I can't say that I have agreed with all of Bob decisions, in fact through the first 4 or 5 weeks of this season I was a big jerk to Bob. I was completely fed up with him and what he had done to our once proud organization.

Well the pride has been restored and I eat my words from this summer.

See you in Regina big guy.

Congrats for sure Bob. I also haven't agreed with everything but you have persevered through a lot and so happy you're going to the Cup as one of the teams participating. Thanks for sticking with this team and city and Let's Go Cats in the 101st!

This pretty much sums up my feelings...

Year 10 of the 5 Year Plan came through for us!!!

Could have told you so!!!

Haven’t you noticed that things/goals/ in life take twice long as planned to be completed, (renovations etc) And time needed is always twice as long as expected.

But you all, including Our Caretaker, already new that.

Either Newton’s Sixth law or the eleventh Commandment, can’t remember which.

Congrats again to all. Well deserved

Well I'm sure Milt Stegall had a plan to be on a GC winning team in his 13 years think it was CFL career. True sports, those that aren't fixed, really isn't something that there is any certainty with the outcome at any time or over any period of time. It's real life and as the saying goes ""the best laid plans of mice and men often go astray" to quote some famous author, not sure which one.

It was never in doubt, piece of cake!!!!!!See ya all in Saskatchewan!!!!!!Go Cats Go!!!!!! :cowboy:  :rockin:

Let me add my congratulations to the Caretaker....and thank him for hanging in for so long through thick and thin (mostly thin) to finally get a winner!
This team has gone much further this season than I ever expected. What an incredible job of coaching by Kent Austin.

Congrats Bob!
It's tremendous when hard work, perseverance and determination pay off and faith is rewarded.
Thanks for giving us this season and rewarding our faith in you and our 'Cats.

Without Bob Young, there would be no opportunity to advance to the 2013 Grey Cup

-nor the existence of the TiCats Football Club (and likely CFL)
-nor the funding for a new stadium in Hamilton
-nor season's tickets for us in that new stadium
-nor the chance to meet/greet esteemed players and coaches
-nor present and future TC memories to share with friends and loved ones
-nor the communal pride shared during Labor Day massacres of the Argos
-nor a reason to say "Argos suck"
-nor the great merchandise to fill our man caves (the wife's dresses and shoes are just fine under the bed)
-nor the liberty to post my constant rambling psycho-babble in these forums
-nor the satisfaction of knowing Rogers Media is cringing every time CFL ratings are released
-nor the opportunity to watch the TiCats demolish the Riders in the 2013 GC (after which Rider Nation will look upon the 2009 Grey Cup with fond memories)

and last but certainly not least, the chance to say, "thanks Bob"

I have been to hell and back with this football team, which made yesterday's victory so sweet.

Congratulations to Bob Young, the players, coaches and all Ticat staff.

After the stadium debacle and the tight timeframe to organize games in Guelph it must have been difficult to be part of the organization with all that stress.

No team was more deserving to make it to the Grey Cup this year.

Thanks also to Guelph for adopting the Cats this year. Don't want to jinx anything, but i hope the grey cup is paraded in both cities!
