Daryl Waud, a Hamilton native, has been selected to play as a DL for the 2012 IFAF World Team roster that will face Team USA in USA Football's International Bowl.

Played his first season for University of Western Ontario in 2011... helped the Mustangs finish 8-2 and reach the CIS quarterfinals... named Athlete of the Week as he helped the Mustangs defeat eventual 2011 CIS champion McMaster in the regular season... returned an interception 33 yards for a touchdown in that game... played high school football at Sir Allan MacNabbs playing both ways as offensive tackle and defensive lineman... was a three-time Public Hamilton champion... most memorable experience was playing for Team Ontario in the 2010 Football Canada Cup in Nova Scotia... most influential people are his family.

Tyler Crapigna, kicker for the Vanier Cup winning McMaster Marauders, played on this team in 2010, and it's coached by Western and former TiCat coach Greg Marshall.
