Command centre operations refocus on clear and obvious principle

TORONTO — The Canadian Football League (CFL) will recalibrate Command Centre operations in the second half of the season to improve performance and to ensure the Clear and Obvious principle is more consistently applied in its decision-making process.

I take this to mean they cleaned house of the biggest offenders for the questionable calls, at least I hope so.

I like the part about the roster of replay officials being reduced to increase efficiency. I think this was a big part of the problem and led to inconsistency.

Yup - the more people on the committee - the less they can decide.

Evaluations for officials is a huge part too. When you are all looking for the same criteria to make the call then :+1: :+1: :+1:

He looks like he just got caught watching a triple X movie… upon further review, there’s no cheese puffs dust on his hands. I’ll have to assume he’s just watching a CFL replay.
