Coach Buono Breaks CFL Win Record

Congratulations to Wally Buono on becoming the winningest coach in CFL history with the B.C. Lions' 23-17 victory over the Toronto Argonauts last night. He also deserves much credit for his professionalism and consistency over his twenty year CFL head coaching career.

The Lions' victory over the Argos also preserved the Ticats' six point lead over the Argos in the race for second place in the CFL East Division standings after eleven regular season games.

Congratulations, Wally. I never thought Frank (the Professor) Clair's record would be beaten, then the Don did it, and now you've surpassed that. Amazing record.

I'm just happy that he passed Matthews who I've always disliked. Wally Buono has always been a classy coach and I think he is deserving of the record.

Congratz Wally!
The best coach of the modern era for sure, many more years of success to you Wally!

That was great to see last Night in BC and Congratulations to Wally Buono on breaking the record, very emotional when Wally was talking about the passing of his mother, great to see on a fine gentlemen and great coach in the CFL.

As in all record breaking ceremonies one steps in to take over as Wally did by passing Don Mathews as the leader in that record category a huge accomplishment by two great coaches in the CFL.

All the best to Wally Buono his family and Lions team and organization!!!

GO TIGER-CATS GO!!!!!

It was Too SWEET Cause He Beat the Boatmen to Do it.

Not only did that win screw the Argo's but also the Bombers as the Lion's are now closer to a cross-over. Ah, football is a beautiful thing

honostly I’d rather see the you guys beating Winnipeg or T.O. In the playoffs. LoL and I’d love to see the lions miss them! But congrats Wally, but let’s see 2 more wins to really make it official.
