This will be us next off season as our D-coordinator will get a HC gig unless Austin boots himself upstairs.
I wouldn’t worry. He’s only been a DC for one year and prior to that a DB coach. I think he’s got a few more years to get more experience before someone will take a chance on him as a HC. I’m hoping that when the time is right and Austin is no longer interested in coaching, they’ll give him strong consideration. Just because you’re a good DC or OC doesn’t translate into a good HC. ie.
