Jamal Powell will be starting at Right Tackle.

Although Ryan Donnelly is banged up,
he is still listed as the back up
to Pascal Cheron at Right Guard.

P.S.

Oh, and bye the way, although Boreham hasn't been participating in practice,
he is listed as the back up to Mark Myers as kicker.

It's bad enough we have to put up with our own trolls, now we're importing them from other cities.

Anywho, this will be interesting to see if Eakin can move the ball better than Maas has been able to. Maas just hasn't looked like his old self since wearing the black and gold. Don't know why (injury, OC, side effects of Lakeport, etc).

I'm a big fan of Jason Maas.. but I'm a big fan of Kevin Eakin too. I think it is going to be a great game and I absolutely believe we're going to win!!

Why cant this be a Ticat thing rather than a Maas , Eakin thing . Eakin really cant lose here . If he succeeds the people who wanted him in thier will say See i told you so !!! If he doesnt have a good game it`s Well he hasnt had a lot of playing time !!!

Why cant this be a team thing , I just want to win the game . I consider Maas the starter and if he is able to go next game he plays .

But so many people always want a QB controversy . They dont want someone to succeed they want a certain player to fail and that`s pathetic .

What everyone should be worried about is them going after Eakin and him gettting hurt . Then what do we do ?? Put in a raw rookie against that defence ? Or risk Maas getting hurt worse then what where would we be ???

Lets hope we WIN THE GAME and dont have to worry about a QB controversy .

There are quite a few in here who are Ticat fans and support the team Period! Those same fans want the “Team” to succeed and the players to work as a team. Many have said…if Jason Maas is “hurt” or “not performing” up to standards then we should use “ALL THE WEAPONS”!

Kevin Eakin is not a rookie…he is a very good QB and unfortunately, because we brought in a “seasoned starter…a proven leader…a gunslinger if you will”, he has been patiently waiting in the wings for his chance!

Now it looks like he is getting it!

No Controversey Here…unless somebody chooses to label this situation one! :wink:

Actually with only 8 Pro starts to his name I think rookie is still fairly accurate.

Once again, If he has to go in because of injury thats fine. But the second Maas comes back its his team for the rest of the season. Welcome to the life of being a backup QB.

lets not lose sight of the Big Picture here! We need to win some games...as a matter of fact at least 8 more...if Richie Williams came in and won a bunch....I'd stick with him! In sales....just like pro sports...."you are only as good as your last sale or your last game"..."What have you done for us lately"? is a saying that comes to mind!
