Cheerleaders are back!

I don’t support any form of political correctness or interference into any type of job or profession. I also don’t care if you are white, black, yellow, green, purple, straight, gay, bi, trans, Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, etc, etc, etc.

When artificial pressures are in place to hire any one segment of society over another it just blows up the whole purpose of it. Just an example - a totally professional, competent, motivated and deserving individual (insert your choice of target group here…) gets a job and succeeds deservedly. When another member of that same community gets the same job under the influence of a policy it will always raise the question of whether it was a hire based on merit or simply to fill a quota - grossly unfair to those who rightly deserve the position.

What is completely unacceptable is the denial of opportunity for anyone to grow, learn, aspire and achieve.

The plowing under of meritocracy in favour of politically motivated policy is to the detriment of society as a whole.
