Cheering for Toronto... It's only this one time

Now don't jump down my throat or have a conniption but.....there is no way in hell that I want to see the Bombers go up 2 and 0. So...I'm afraid I'm going to have to root for the Argos in tomorrow nights game. cringe.

Listen....I grew up in the Hamilton area so hating the Argos was easy...bred into my genes. But having lived here in Manitoba for the last 7 years, I've grown to hate the Bombers more than the Argos. And especially their fans..the trolls who come on OUR website and start spouting off that their team is destined for the cup and the Cats for the scrap heap. All this after one game.

Therefore, with or without your support fellow Ticat lovers, I'm cheering for the Argos tomorrow night. (And if I'm really really lucky, the two teams will inflict a lot of damage and pain on each other so I can have my cake and eat it to so to speak).

What about a tie? That way neither team wins.

All I can say is... ARRRRGGGOOOOOOSSSSS

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't cheering for them as well..I used to think the Bombers were okay but, Mike Kelly made me despise them and I just cannot get the bad taste out of my mouth. Besides I'd rather see the Cats in a 3 or 4 way tie for first then sitting in second place.

Yup, agree, go Argos! Hey, it's easy for me, I grew up in London cheering for them as my favourite team in the CFL anyways.
TiCat fan now though through and through.

The way Winnipeg played last week and they are at home again, just can't see the game being close.

Go bummers go

NEVER will cheer for Argos unless a win by the Argos 100% guarantees the Cats to backdoor a playoff spot in the last game of the season....and maybe not even then.
An Argo loss is equally as enjoyable as a Cats win.

Can't do it. I just can't. I hate them both so I'm going to quietly hope that the whole stadium gets abducted by aliens (sorry to my Bomberfan friends, but we all have to make sacrifices).

8) Well, I would have to admit that at this point in time, I would actually cheer for the Argos over Winnipeg.
Something about those Winnipeg fans that irritate me even more so than Argo fans do !!

But would I cheer for the Leafs ??? Ha ha, nope, that is never going to happen in my lifetime !! <!-- s:twisted: --><!-- s:twisted: -->

NOOOOOOOO…

It’s like the drug pusher who says, “hey kid, try this just once”. Cheering for the blue team may produce harmful effects to your brain. Just say “No”.

The proper TiCat fan protocol is to cheer for a tie with as you stated many injuries (although nothing too serious).

I'm ok with a scoreless tie since they can't both lose.

Thanks for the love fellas! Maybe Lemon will surprise us all.

and be pulled before the 1st half ends

36-34 Argos over the Peg. in the Peg, gotta like it. The argos D really stepped up tonight.

Argos came in with a really smart solid game plan...they're gonna be a tough team this year.

This years Argos team reminds me a lot of us last year. A team that has very low expectations, but a lot of unknowns. The thing about unknowns is that they can work out for you in bunches sometimes, like us last year.

Argos played a great game and deserved the win. I hope Hamilton plays a great game tomorrow and wins. What I really want to see is a competitive east division this year, it's been too long.

better late than never

at least you spared everyone an intervention

The Boatmen are hard to like but good they won, now we have to play them. Their OLine looks tough and talented.

It was pretty much a fluke win, they're not going to win too many games playing a conservative ball control offence.
