There’s media talk in the U.S. that Chicago Bears WR Chase Claypool could be released by the team soon. They spent a 2nd round pick to acquire him from the Steelers and have been disappointed by the results. Could the Abbotsford B.C. native make his way north soon?

There’s many things in the Chicago bears situation that don’t work….seems to be a thing with claypool tho, shipped outta Pittsburgh shipped outta Chicago now too….hmmmm

I think some time will have to pass with no NFL interest before he considers coming up here. Definitely not for this season.
I wonder if any team has his exclusive negotiating rights.
Saying that he has at least 3 seasons of NFL experience so he won’t have to play under a rookie contract under the current CBA. Something incentive ladden could work

Those were some of the lows in the hard times during that canceled season plus delayed season hiatus for the CFL.

For that mass of those Bears fans who will still tell you, unprovoked and not in context,
“yeah, you know, back in '85 we …(insert whatever modernly irrelevant drivel)”, well yes indeed, to release those people in modern times upon any given new city would be cruel and unusual punishment too.
