Time really flies. 2/3 of the CFL regular season already gone. Last 1/3 will be quite interesting.

In the East, Ottawa and Hamilton will fight for first place. I don’t see Montreal and Toronto in the playoffs.

In the West, Calgary will finish in first and the 4 other teams will fight for 3 playoffs places.i.e. 2 in the West and 1 in the East,as cross over.

The schedule is interesting:

Hamilton will play: BC(2),Ottawa (2), Toronto (1) and Montreal (1). I say Hamilton has to beat Ottawa twice in order to finish first.

Ottawa will play: Edmonton(2),Hamilton (2),Winnipeg(1) and Toronto (1).

BC-7 games remaining- will play: Hamilton (2),Calgary (2),Toronto (1), Edmonton (1) and Saskatchewan (1).

Edmonton will play: Ottawa (2), Winnipeg (2) -both in Edmonton-,Saskatchewan (1) and BC (1).

Saskatchewan will play: Toronto (1), Montreal (1),Edmonton (1), Winnipeg (1),Calgary (1) and BC (1).

Winnipeg will play: Edmonton (2),Montreal (1),Ottawa (1),Saskatchewan (1) and Calgary (1).

I can't believe I am still in fourth place without a perfect week ... Week #15 picks;

Montreal vs Winnipeg - Winnipeg - Manziel is not a tested commodity - Nichols is. Montreal D is strong, but so is Winnipeg's. I think Winnipeg has more potential on offense than Montreal so, ... Winnipeg by7.

Edmonton vs Ottawa - Edmonton - This to me is the "tough call" of the week. Two good teams but I have to give the edge to Edmonton. Edmonton by 7.

Saskatchewan vs Toronto - Saskatchewan - Every year, the Riders are the bane of my existence. I pick them to win and they lose, I pick them to lose and they win ... Grrr! They should win this game. Rider's Defense has been a strength all year. put that Defense against a Rookie run offense and I think they win the turnover battle. All of the Rider's wins have come when their defense or special teams have scored more points than the opposition Offense. Rider's Offense is still, well, offensive! Riders by 7.

Hamilton vs BC - Hamilton - I think that Mazoli is the better option over Jennings (for now). I think both defenses are about in line with one another. Hamilton by 7.
