TORONTO — Another week of games came with another week of the Toronto Argonauts and Winnipeg Blue Bombers showing their dominance over their opponents.
I remember when the first simulation came out last year. The Argos were something like 6 and 6 at the time (still easily first place in the East). Winnipeg was 11-2 or thereabouts. Yet the
computer gave the Argos a 64% probability of winning the Grey Cup. Every comment, including mine, said that program is worthless - yet the Argos did win the Cup. In November we’ll see if the simulation works this year too.
IF Winnipeg does not win it is because they let it slip, as good as Toronto is, they are not an offensive power house, they rely on errors of the other teams
