CFL Simulation: Playoff success for the Argos?

TORONTO — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are enjoying everything that a six-game winning streak can throw at them.

What a difference 1 week has made for Hamilton.

Making playoffs: 13.54% (now) vs. 2.39% (last week)
Hosting a playoff game: 2.65% (now) vs. 0.17% (last week)
Appearing in the Grey Cup: 2.13% (now) vs. 0.33% (last week)

How does a current 3rd place team in the CFL West Division get picked to host a home playoff game over the current 2nd place team? The current 3rd place West Division team standing is still up in the air while the 4th place West Division team is making a Antlers up charge to a 3rd place finish.

Current place in West Team Odds of hosting playoff game
1 Winnipeg 92.86%
2 BC 55.19%
3 Saskatchewan 50.22%
4 Edmonton 1.69%
Huh? 55 > 50.2

Because BCs defense is awful, as is their Oline. They also play each other in Sask still, and there’s a good chance the winner of this one gets 2nd.

That Antlers up and charging team currently sitting 4th in the CFL West Division will overwhelm and overtake the current 3rd place team while relocating them where they belong, relegated to fight off the 5th place team to stay out of the CFL West Division basement.

It’s a conspiracy theory. Strategically the writer is trying to elevate your blood pressure to see how crazy you’ll get. I see by your next post it worked.

Dear Ms./Mr. ABC,

Most cfl.ca contributors biased skrr fans. Look at the new All Star Player poll, heavily slanted with rider picks. Just watch the riderville fanbase skew that poll up in favor of undeserved skrr team players.
