CFL Simulation: Bombers roll into Thanksgiving Weekend presented by Purolator

TORONTO — What’s happening on the field is unsurprisingly reflected in the CFL Simulation.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers secured themselves a home playoff game last week, topping the Hamilton Tiger-Cats to push their winning streak to eight games. Everything feels possible for this Bombers team right now. The simulation has them as heavy favourites to clinch the West Division and to appear in and to win the 111th Grey Cup (a 78.34 per cent chance of lifting the trophy on Nov. 17).

I have a masters degree in statistics and I could not agree more that the Bombers are heavy, heavy favourites.

It is time to “Retire the Useless Simulator” :upside_down_face: Any wise football fan knows the Winnipeg Blue Bombers  riding an impressive 8 game win streak are the prohibitive Grey Cup favourites ! :100:
However my hometown Argos meet the Bombers in Winnipeg in Week 19  I strongly believe my Argos will beat the Als in this year’s East Final. :anchor:

Bombers
Chad Kelly
Leo Cahill & Joe Theisman

P.S CFL trivia-Who are the 2 men in last photo   :football: :top: :two: :vietnam:

Therefore I see the Argos facing the Bombers for Lord Grey’s mighty Mug :bangbang:

Some guy who broke his leg and another guy who once said “Only an act of God can stop us from winning this game” :+1: The leg breaker was named Joe and the God guy was known as Leo .

I would be impressed if the Argos beat the BB this week but the BB won’t lose another game till after they host next year. So, dream on as the rest of us are playing for second place and 2026.

I love this simulation stuff, just for the heck of it. The probability is there but nothing, absolutely nothing, is guaranteed. The game has to be played on the field and there, anything can happen.

Enough’s enough with all these hypothetical hallucinations. It will be the Montreal Alouettes vs Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the 2024 Grey Cup Championship game unless for some reason the league bends over for the BC Lions to magically appear on home turf in this game just to appease that team just like it did the rough riders 2013. Sorry CFL pretenders, but Montreal Alouettes defend their Grey Cup Title and win again

Lets have a serious CFL moment here and pray foe any player in the CFL effected by the bad weather storms racing across the US South East and other States in America_ .

It certainly seems to be the case. However a huge earth destroying meteorite could hit the Peg making it all a moot point.

WPG is rated higher than expected. It was the case last year as well!
I think this will all change when Winnipeg goes to Montreal for the 21st week game.
I feel other than MTL and WPG is in final this year. Lets see!!

Playoffs are different ballgame from the regular season games!!!

Week 21, these teams playing each other… Will have 3 and 4th string players activated and the rest of the players will at 40 percent capacity. They might even play the water and towel staff. Who ever wins this game will have no bragging rights.
