Cory Boyd (ankle) says he will play in Winnipeg; Kevin Huntley (shoulder) will not

Oski Wee Wee,

"Clinching top spot and a bye to the East final has allowed Montreal coach Marc Trestman to give some banged up players a game off – including linebacker Diamond Ferri, who has a hip flexor, and kicker Damon Duval, whose return from a hamstring problem has been delayed an extra week.

Colt David, who made all six field-goal tries in his CFL debut but missed two attempts last week, will kick for a third straight game.

Running back Avon Cobourne is out with a bruised rib, so Brandon Whitaker will play tailback.

Kick returner Tim Maypray has returned home to Chicago to be with a sick family member and will be replaced by Leroy Vann."

Re Lions vs. Stamps tonight:

For the Stamps, Karl McCartney is out, so Jesse Lumsden is expected to see ST time for Calgary.

Nik Lewis is back after resting a knee issue last week.

For the Lions, Davis Sanchez is out for the rest of the season (dislocated elbow).

For Toronto, Cory Boyd is a go, Kevin Huntley is out.

"The Riders go into the game minus three key starters who were injured against Calgary: kicker Luca Congi, receiver Rob Bagg and defensive end Brent Hawkins. Congi will be replaced by Eddie Johnson who took over in Calgary, Cary Koch assumes Bagg's roster spot and six-foot-six, 256-pound former Eskimo Montez Murphy will be a backup defensive lineman as rookie Shomari Williams starts at end.

The Eskimos have five roster changes. Receiver Kamau Peterson, kick returner Tristan Jackson and fullback Mathieu Bertrand have been put on the nine-game injury list while defensive lineman Neil Puffer and receiver Tyler Scott move to the practice roster."

Oski Wee Wee,

Drew says AB3 is at practice but not taking part in first team drills. My unauthorized adivce is to sit him again. Matt Kirk and Bo Smith are done for the year with Matt Carter questionable. For whatever reason Carter's contribution hasn't been the same since a cheap shot concussion earlier this year. Shivers is expected back Saturday with Tisdale going back to corner.

Mark Masters of the National Post says blue team's Willie Middlebrooks (neck) is done for the year. Chad Owens (calf) is doubtful and Cory Boyd won't play Sunday.

Ray will start tonight vs. Saskatchewan.

Calgary's RB Jon Cornish has a mild concussion from last night's finale against Winnipeg. Jesse Lumsden will have his left knee evaluated this weekend.

re Argos:
"It is also a big game for defensive tackle Adriano Belli, who will come off the nine-game injured list to test his sore foot before the playoffs."

re Als:
"Linebacker Diamond Ferri will also sit out with an injury but expects to be ready for the playoffs."

From Drew Edwards's Scratching Post:

"#Ticats injury update (and one for me too)

A number of people have asked about the seriousness of the injuries to receivers McDaniel and Stala. Bellefeuille said Stala felt a "twinge" in his hammy and was taken out as a precautionary measure while McDaniel would be re-evaluated. Stala seemed fine walking around the locker room after the game while McDaniel was still sitting by his locker when I left: at least he wasn't with the doc on the trainer staff."

Of note:

Bryan Crawford (adductor) is out for Toronto, Jeff Johnson (hamstring) is questionable.

For the Cats, Bruce (hamstring) is a go. McDaniel will be a game-time decision (turf toe).

For the Riders, Barrin Simpson will be be a game-time decision (ankle).

For BC, Sherko Haji-Rasouli is listed as questionable, but is likely to miss Sunday’s game.

Oski Wee Wee,

Russ
