CFL Roster Cut down day

What's your number?
For Davon Coleman, it's now "0." (Changing from 95)
Sean Thomas-Erlington has chosen 31 (over 49).
Keon Lyn will now wear 29 (giving up 43).
Damarr Aultman is now #87. (was 71)

There'll likely be more before the season kickoff. The PR newcomer from the RedBlacks, Dupuis, will likely want Lyn's old number 43. It wouldn't be surprising to see Castillo go for #6, one of only 2 single digit jerseys left, and I wonder if Connor McGough might want to switch to his old Dinos number (75)?

Do practice roster players get numbers? Dupuis just cut from the RBs, he could be cut by the Ticats if he doesn't impress.

E.Davis won’t be playing in game #1@ BMO and Kanneh is very questionable. :frowning:

“Davis has been added to the roster from the suspended list, a sign that the groin injury he suffered early in camp is on the mend; but Austin says he won’t be ready for Saturday’s opener against Toronto”.

Kanneh, meanwhile, is “very questionable.?

Yes, PR players are given numbers. Two of the 4 players who changed numbers on Sunday -- Aultman nd Thomas-Erlington -- on the PR.

Yes , of course all PR players have assigned jersey numbers . It would be kinda hard to identify them at practice if they didn't .

Some info on Dupuis(they will convert him to OL) and they also signed a INT OL Lamar Holmes to the PR today

Dupuis, 25, was selected by the Ottawa Redblacks in the fifth round, 45th overall, in the 2017 CFL Draft and attended Ottawa’s training camp before being released yesterday (June 18). The 6-2, 296-pound native of Laval, Quebec, was a defensive lineman at the University of Montreal (2013-16) but will convert to the offensive line with the Tiger-Cats. He posted nine defensive tackles and 3.5 sacks in 2016 with the Carabins.

Holmes, 27, appeared in 21 games in the National Football League with the Atlanta Falcons over three seasons (2012-14), making 19 starts at both left and right tackle. The 6-6, 333-pound native of Gastonia, North Carolina, also spent time with the Detroit Lions last season after missing the 2015 campaign due to injury. He was originally selected by the Falcons in the third round, 91st overall, in the 2012 NFL Draft out of the University of Southern Mississippi.
