TORONTO — Ahead of the CFL Draft and CFL Global Draft on April 29, over 140 draft-eligible prospects are slated to showcase their skills for the league’s general managers, coaches and player personnel.
From the invitational combine, I will be watching two for the EE:
MICHAUD, Tristan 24 WR South Dakota ← a Big blocking receiver in the 5th or 6th RD pick. The alternative is MEIGA, Malick ST/SB Coastal Carolina who is also a gunner on ST.
OSHINUBI, Opemipo 19 RB Alberta ← the EE could use a RB/KR in the mix via a 5th or 6th RD pick. The alternative is UBC RB KNIGHT, Isaiah … but Oshinubi is a local kid does good story that will play well in E-Town.
At the main combine will be watching:
Potential 11th overall pick: NEWELL, Darien 50 NT Queen’s MARTEY, Nate 44 NT Arkansas State
with Rene Konga NT Louisville pushing his eligibility out to 2026.
Potential 3rd Round - Picks 22nd and 24th overall: FINDLAY, Jackson 23 FS Western University BEAUCHEMIN, Nate 9 FS Calgary
NEUMANN, Cody 49 OG Alberta VIBERT, Ethan 63 OG South Dakota State
