Yah the NHL runs too long. Middle to end of May is plenty long enough.

He likes to risk it with the deep ball which is probably why he has so many interceptions in the NFL and why he was probably coached to be more careful. I remember he had a nice bomb to D. Moore for Carolina to secure a come from behind win a couple of years ago. I hope he finds that level again.

Rather than splitting things up, I’m going to keep all the preseason action in a single thread. These games don’t tend to draw a ton of replies, and this way everything’s in one spot if anyone wants to revisit things later.

Hello All, been pretty frustrated. CFL.ca has been off and on all day today. Anyone else having problems with CFL plus? Wanted to watch some preseason football today and only got to see a little of the Hamilton Toronto game. All of my other sites have worked. Not good if you are going to stream most of your games online in the United States.

Well the Elks need some sort of halftime speech after this one, and not so much to win but to at least play somewhat better.
Even for preseason, 1 point is unacceptable.
And they have had two offside calls in short yardage on defence!
At least they got an interception here before the half.
But they better at least run some play and not hike and fart around with the ball now.

I have it! Yes! Thank you. I know that it might be sacrilege on this forum but I am not much of a hockey fan. At least not NHL. I watch a lot of college hockey though. The ice has long since melted in the part of the country that I live. Ha ha. Cheers and thank you.

Well, it seems pretty clear that the battle for the #1 QB spot will not be the competition that I expected. It is only pre-season but it is going to take PJ Walker a little while to get used to the CFL game. Vernon Adams looked pretty good. Hard to judge Edmonton without playing Tre. The Edmonton secondary has not looked very good.

I have always felt the Lapo belongs in the broadcast booth. Seems weird not having Matt Dunnigan in the studio. That will take some getting used to. What are you up to these days Jock Climie? Would love to see that.
