Well when its all said and done, the benefit of Thursday night games has to be for TSN not more fans in the stands. Thursday night is often an open night for the Blue Jays as a travel day.
I wouldn't mind having more games on Thursday. That is because this would be easier for me since I watch every single game anyway on ESPN3. Spreading them out just makes watching the games less tiresome. Maybe use the 3rd string announcers more as I can only take so much of everybody's favorite #2 play-by-play guy.
Bomber fans always tell me the reason for the amount of Thurs games we get (to not combat lake trips by people), but I would love less than the amount we had last year.
