Here are this week's matchups, featuring two inter-divisional games:
BC (4-7) at Hamilton (6-5)
Saskatchewan (7-4) at Edmonton (2-8)
Toronto (7-4) at Ottawa (2-10)
Montreal (6-5) at Winnipeg (10-1)
The West currently leads in inter-divisional games this year by a 12-7 margin.
List your picks for the winners. We'll keep a weekly tally and whoever is at the top after the Grey Cup gets bragging rights.
Here are the standings after Week 13:
(as always, please let me know if I've missed anyone or miscalculated anything)
Capital Dave 29-21
Paul Ste Marie 23-8
Montreal (bit of a hunch here, but I'm thinking Stanback and Harris can get the Als offense going and Winnipeg might let off the gas a bit now that they've clinched the West)
Going to go with:
Ottawa - maybe Duck gets a start and who knows!
Winnipeg is so due for a loss.... but I just don't think Mtl is the team to do it... who knows... IF Winnipeg gifts Montreal a win I just can not see them doing it on their home field
Hamilton over BC (this is basically a must win for them, oh and this will eliminate BC chances at cross)
Saskatchewan over Edmonton
Toronto over Ottawa
Winnipeg over Montreal
BC at Hamilton
Saskatchewan at Edmonton
Toronto at Ottawa
Montreal at Winnipeg
Next year I would like to see all moderators make predictions, they can be shown in the regular pool, as well in their own pool.
My picks for week 14 are:
Toronto (hope I'm wrong on this one)
Needing a miracle to make the play offs.
One reason I'm picking Montreal over Winnipeg is the hope that it will help me leapfrog some posters ahead of me. If you're back in the pack, you might need to pick some long-shots and hope it pays off.
I tried that last week with Elk, I flopped
I agree, there just wasn't any games that stood out this week. So I'm going to push it to next week, Maybe it's last week hail Mary picks.
They won't lose at home
Next week you should try for upset in Montreal
