This immediately brought to mind the shooting deaths of Riders RB Joe McKnight, and Stampeders DB Mylan Hicks. It appears young Saulsberry has died under similar senseless circumstances.
My heart goes out to their families, friends, and teammates, but mostly to their parents. All those practices and games they attended, all those years of guidance and encouragement, only to lose their son due to someone’s momentary lapse of judgement.
It leaves a lump in this parent’s throat.

We don’t need to hear about how law abiding gun owners are somehow responsible for the death of a young man. That stuff is classless.
