Come on Toronto, only 13,000 sold as of today, there is a GREAT DEAL above. Buy a ticket, support your team !!

Oh that's just great. What a joke the fans won't even support there team in the playoffs, it's not like a lot of teams from Toronto even make the playoffs. Toronto has to have the worst sports fans in Canada.

15,000  OH Boy !!

I think the Argos are popular, just that many fans prefer to watch games on TV as the home blackouts are always lifted.

Over 18,500 now

A bump for the sake of the Argos

19,400 hopefully there is a BIG walk up ???????

That's not a fair comment. Skydome is too big for the Argo fanbase. Montreal had the same problem in Olympic stadium until they moved to Molson stadium, which holds about 20,000.

Besides, they're the only team in Canada with NHL (sell out every game even though they suck), NBA (good crowds there), & MLB (good crowds there too). Part of the problem is that many fans want an NFL franchise (Buffalo coming there every year doesn't help). Toronto wants to be a big league town; CFL be damned (except for diehard fans). They just need a smaller stadium to play in, that's all.

Any suggestions? I don't know the city well enough to suggest an alternate venue like a university stadium that could be adapted for the CFL like Montreal did.

The Jays get 10,000 most nights, Raptors are tied to leafs season tickets and still only get 10,000 some nights. The only reason the leafs sell out is because the lower bowl is taken up by corporate ! The Bills series has been a disaster  Upwards of 20,000 free bees given out to lift the black out to save face  Lets face it Toronto is not a sports town, Its a wanna bee town.

So getting 25,000 for an Argos game is pretty good !!

No the Jays had a 25,900 average this year and considering where they finished and the fact that season ticket holders have to sit through 81 games not just 9, that's pretty good. Leaf season ticket holders are on a waiting list for $150 average for over 40 games a year.
The Bills series a disaster? really for whom? try getting a ticket for the December game. Last years games was 52,000 and 30k of them tickets sold at close to $300 a ticket. There is not an NFL market that would pay that much money for football.
The Bills series is a huge money maker for the Bills - they can generate twice the revenue at the Rogers Centre than they can in Buffalo with 75,000 in the stands. Expect more Bills games in the future, who knows could be 7 more a season soon.
