Unbelievable

Only 65. How sad. Condolences to his family and the Elks fan base.

VAJ pulling his annual disappearing act

Montreal has swagger with Alexander.

They will be a tough team down the stretch.

Does seem to be a repeating thing. Start the year on fire, then mid-season injuries pile up and he never quite gets back to form. The one play he pulled on the botched snap out of the endzone was pretty impressive though. Very similar to Alexander for Als fumbling the low snap and chucking it deep earlier in the game. Hamilton hasn’t faced too many qbs like that lately. We will see it in the playoffs.

He was playing at clearly less than 100% on the road, and his team has been hit hard by injury. And he still left it on the field. He’s not a DB and it’s not his job to stop the other team’s offence.

Nobody questioned his effort. 20, 23 and 19 pts in his last 3 won’t cut it though.

Winnipeg won a game with Streveler completing 3 passes. They’ve had injuries; Adams himself has been injured. I would hardly call a tough stretch of injury-plagued games an “annual disappearing act.”

In 4th qtr now in Edmonton. Not much scoring - Elks 11, Riders 9. No Passing TDs. I’m surprised.

Good win by Edmonton?

Edmonton who we beat twice beat Sask. Who we lost to twice.

So we’re as good as both Edmonton and Sask. :+1:

The CFL is a crazy league.

Wonder if Rider fans are thinking they’re finished. No chance of winning a playoff game. Might as well sell the team.

As someone suggested in the other forum, I think the Elks had their owner’s passing on their minds for that extra boost (especially Fajardo, the guy who likes the J-Man’s sprinkles).

Is it the same thing when one division-leading team loses a game by about 5% of the number of points by which the other division-leading team lost its game? I know, it’s the same thing, in the standings, but those losses were very different. And, I think SSK fans are quite different, too.

Edmontons in last place. Healthy Winnipeg is a legitimate Grey Cup contender.

Mauldin traded to Calgary

2 sacks in 14 games. Traded for a 4th round pick.
Only 15 sacks in 3 years after getting 17 in 2022.

I have a feeling Ottawa’s going to blow that team up, including the GM after the season.

Always depends on the ops cap but id agree. Burke went all in on too many guys that proved they couldn’t win here
