Just a little scarcasm.
Of course every Hamilton fan was praying for a Toronto loss.
Sorry, 67, like Big Bangâs Sheldon, I didnât recognize it.
No problem. I could have explained it better. Hamilton has been on a winning streak. They just need to keep on winning. Thatâs the only thing they can control. Have a great day.
2 rushes for 11 yds,
2 kickoff returns for 49 yds
2 punt returns for 48 yds
The average yardage on those 4 McAllister returns is impressive.
A couple of blew boys hit in the pocketbook for their highs and lows on our guys:
TORONTO â The Canadian Football League (CFL) has announced six players have received fines following Week 16 action.
** Toronto defensive lineman Derek Parish has been fined for delivering a low hit on Hamilton quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell.*
** Toronto defensive back Robert Priester has been fined for delivering a high hit on Hamilton wide receiver Jevoni Robinson.*

With Zach, due back in town, today, an interesting look back at the outstanding Winnipeg trade deal that made him a Blue Bomber:
https://3downnation.com/2024/10/02/cfl-trade-deadline-2024/
Also included in that link is this look at other teams hoping to make it into the playoffs, and what they need to happen, to do so, in this 3-game weekend:

Only one trade made at yesterdayâs deadline.
This article mentions that the last deadline trade was Zach to WPG in 2019 - and we ALL know how that ended: https://3downnation.com/2024/10/02/cfl-trade-deadline-2024/
He should have just retired
B.C. Lions roared back in the 4th quarter. Nice pick 6 by Betts.
I donât see this, copied from a SportsNet report this morning, as being true:
âThe Calgary Stampeders saw their faint playoff dreams extinguished Friday in a 32-15 loss to the B.C. Lionsâ.
CGY has 9 pts. in the standings with 3 games remaining.
SSK has 15 pts. with 3 games remaining.
The final game of this season is CGY @ SSK.
Those two teams have played once before, this year, with SSK winning 37-29.
If CGY goes 3-0, including winning by 9 pts. over SSK, and SSK loses both of their other 2 remaining games, CGY would finish ahead of SSK.
EDM, now with 10 pts. in the standings, remains in the picture but, in the scenario above, they lose 1 of their 3 remaining games to CGY and couldnât finish with more than 14 pts, while CGY & SSK tie, in the final standings with 15.
HAM still remains in the Western playoff picture, too, but their loss to CGY in the scenario above, would eliminate them from crossing over.
Am I wrong?
A Rider win today and the Ticats can not crossover.
The Bombers need to beat the Argos next Friday, then the week after the Ticats over the Stamps and Ottawa over the Argos.
Then in the final week Ticats would need to beat Ottawa.
Then the Ticats take the final game in Ottawa.
From what I remember, the normal tiebreakers donât apply to a crossover. We would need more points than the Western team. A tie wonât cut it.
I think he means if we lose to Calgary next week, mathematically we are eliminated from the crossover. Which is correct.
A Sask win tonight would also eliminate us from the crossover
Go ELKS!!!
Ooops! Didnât mean to quote Grover, to make this unrelated observation:
Matt Shiltz saw his first action of the season late in the CGY @ BC game, last night, and looked good. 4/5 passing for 99 yds. and a TD, and a couple scrambles for 26 yds. Maybe heâll get another shot at QB, with the stamps here in on the 18th.
Indiana 41 Northwestern 24
Kurtis 25/33 380 yards 3td no interceptions
Indiana was ranked # 23 and certainly will be moving on up after their Northwestern victory yesterday
