Three out of four ain't bad. Actually, I think all four rule changes are improvements, but I'd like to see another change to the punting out of bounds rule.
Punting directly out of bounds should be discouraged to generate more return possibilities, and this change definitely discourages it. I like it. But I would prefer the rule to be based on the position of the line of scrimmage rather than where the ball went out of bounds. As in, any kick straight out of bounds should be deemed illegal unless the line of scrimmage is inside your own 20 yard line. (This is similar to the rule in rugby). This allows teams deep in their own end to punt straight out of bounds to get out of trouble, and might actually reduce the number of safeties taken in these situations - the most boring play in football, IMO. The coffin corner maybe becomes more difficult, but it's still do-able.
